Preview a strict date, description and signed-amount CSV before accepting it. Amounts are processed as integer cents. Opening balance plus included activity is compared with the closing balance you enter.

See possible duplicates, dates outside your period and rows without a reference. Add several references to a row or share one statement reference across rows. Nothing is corrected automatically.

Before you decide
Why pay if I already have a spreadsheet?
You may not need to. A spreadsheet can do this arithmetic and maintain a reference list. GuardianBooks offers a guided preview, persistent IDs within your backups, visible exception flags and a consistent print index. Pay only if that workflow removes work for you.
Will this finish my court accounting?
No. It has no court schedules, classification rules, filing forms or deadline advice. It covers one USD cash account and one period, not all assets or accounts. It does not reconcile outstanding checks or decide whether spending was lawful. Use the applicable official forms and qualified advice for your situation.
Does a zero difference mean my records are complete?
No. It means the entered amounts match arithmetically. Offsetting omissions can leave a zero difference. Duplicate and unreferenced rows remain visible even when the total matches.
Can I attach or print receipts?
No. Enter a description and location for each document you want to reference. The tool prints the index, not the actual documents. An entered reference is not document inspection or a legal sufficiency check.
What happens when I close the tab?
Unsaved work is lost. Save a JSON backup to protected storage; restore it when you return. There is no account, cloud vault or automatic storage. Downloads are not encrypted. A modern JavaScript-enabled browser is required.
